This poem was written by me at the beginning of this program so I decided to express myself using this same poem. It was a lot of fun going to the beach and filming there. The shots where hard to take and the the editing was even harder but it was rewarding. I like the poem and hope you enjoy it as well. Thank you.
This is a poem that i wrote and decided bring to life. though its a simple piece it took a while to do because of the constant raining so we to do half of the shots, but that’s why editing is so great lol. This movie was created by Calis Cuthbertson with the help of YMW students. This movie is about peer pressure and gangs. What happens is four teen boys start a gang and end up “tagging” different areas of their town. Eventually two of the teens realize what their doing is wrong and leave the gang. After they leave a dramatic ending finishes the movie and we all learn a great lesson. The process in making this film was difficult and it took a while. Patience is key when it come to film-making. This movie is very dramatic and entertaining to watch.
At first I thought that making a video would be very easy but to my surprise it was very challenging. It took me almost one day to make only one min. of film that was to my liking. This project has given me a new appreciation for film makers all across the world. I hope you enjoy “Half of Me”
Calypso is a song that my cousin and I wrote. The song talks about basically carnival time and calypso music.
This short film is about my dog who was also my best friend. It wasn’t exactly easy to make this film but it wasn’t hard. It was fun making this film and it also brought back good and sad memories. I really hope you enjoy this film as much as i did. Don’t forget to write comments. 
This has to be the longest project i have ever worked on in this program so far. Having to keep the bratz dolls up was frustrating but worth it. My friend and i (Anastasia & Damali) made this. I like it and i’m sure you will to ^_^
This is the hardest and most complicated thing we have ever done. These pictures were hard to draw but we managed to pull through. It’s about a girl named Laila (blond) and her friend Shami (blue head) as they suffer through a series of random events that leaves her to choose whom she may marry.
This form of animation is long and tiring. It takes many shots and careful movement of the clay figures to make the movie characters appear life-like. although it look a long time, it was fun to move the characters, and weird because the clay wasn’t black or white. It was first going to be a break dancing fight instead of an actual brawl, but we changed the concept later. LJ worked on the background design, while Richard made the clay figures. JeRonn worked on editing in the end.

When we were making this film we had some interesting items to use in our piece but were successful in being able to make a story out of it. We used our two main items, the stuffed cat and lion, and came up with a conflict between them. The lion ate all of the items and blamed the cat for it. This play was very fun to do. It was a lot of work, but very rewarding. We are very happy with the finished project and hope you enjoy it as well. Thank You
