This is Calis and Mo’s creation of an animated chase between two rivals. This creation was fun but it was a long process but none the less we had lots of fun doing this. Although the process is long the finish presentation is rewarding to view and we are proud of our masterpiece. As you notice in this animation there’s a lot of movement which wasn’t that hard, basically you just have to move the characters ever so slightly but you should already have in mind where the characters are going. So we hope you enjoy our piece and the rest of our website.

The Youth Moviemaking Workshop (YMW) challenges the inquisitive minds of creative young people by placing them directly in front of and behind the camera. Through a series of tailored, interactive activities and courses, participants begin to learn the skills necessary to produce their own videos and television programs. They test their own creativity and discover the excitement of the creative process.

This intensive seven weeks hands-on training experience is designed to motivate, educate and build practical skills in the field of digital film production.  The program is split into two segments: (a) basic skills and (b) film production. The skills segment consists of intensive training that includes activities and assignments that instruct as well as reinforce the following objectives: knowing how to operate a digital camera, learning the language of film, developing a script, creating a production and establishing a team, shooting footage, acting, using computers to edit and exhibiting a completed project. The production segment is devoted to the final project which is a 10 to 15 minute short film that tells a story which they script or a documentary on specific issues occurring in the community. The project must be completed in three weeks.  One the last day of the program they will exhibit their works a their “Red Carpet Premiere” at Reichhold Center, a community event open to the public.
